Getting Your First Freelance Client
The first client is a proof problem. Here is how to solve it honestly.
Before anyone pays you, they need to see that you can do the work. That is why portfolio projects matter more than certificates at the start.
Build two or three practice projects that look like the work you want to be hired for, then show your thinking, not only the final image. Explaining the brief, the decisions and the outcome is often what wins the conversation.
Start close to home: people who already know you, small businesses in your area, and communities you belong to. Do the work well and ask for a written note about it.
Your Digital Journey Starts Here.
Build a skill. Build your brand. Build something that creates value.
